Plan Your Field Trip Today!
We welcome school, youth, community, and adult groups to the African American Civil War Memorial and Museum.
Choose the experience that best meets your group’s needs:
The memorial is outdoors, open 24/7, and may be visited at any time. We are now scheduling field trips inside the Museum.
Self-guided groups do not have to be scheduled, but please let us know your group will be stopping by by sending us a message here. If you are requesting a guided tour for your group or educational program, please fill out the form on this page.
Note: All program requests must be submitted at least two weeks in advance of the planned visit.
The African American Civil War Memorial Museum honors the heroic roles of 209,145 US Colored Troops (USCT) who helped end slavery and kept America united under one flag.
